San Diego Women Artists (SDWA)
Spanish Village (Gallery 21) July – Aug 2005
Mission Statement As an abstract artist and the group director, Connie Cannon, invited eight extraordinary local women artists to form a group called the San Diego Women Artist in 2004. In order to create diversity, each member was carefully chosen based upon their exceptional artistic abilities, genre, and years of dedication to the art community. The philosophy of the group is to increase art awareness in the San Diego and surrounding areas, expressing variety of art produced by the local women artists. This experience will gain our viewers’ respect and appreciation for art and the community.
